Stephen Lloyd was the founder director of the Diversity Division at the Grass Roots Group - now the largest distance-learning diversity training provider in the UK. Grass Roots Group is a £270 million turnover performance improvement company, employing over 1,000 staff worldwide. Stephen remains a Trustee of the Grass Roots Group Foundation.
Stephen has worked for over 15 years in the field of equality and diversity, was a member of a regulatory body appointed by the then Secretary of State, a past Trustee of the RNID, a Patron of the British Society of Hearing Therapists and more recently was appointed to the Board of LINK/Hearing Concern, a charity working on behalf of deafened and hard of hearing people.
Stephen is active politically and has been a member of the Liberal Democrats Age & Opportunity Working Party (formulating party policy on the Third Age into the 21st Century), served on the Board of the national party and is their parliamentary candidate for Eastbourne
